DB4 G.T.

"Aston Martin has a rich and vibrant heritage, as you'd expect from a company that has been building some of the world's finest sports cars for 103-years.

Of those the DB4 G.T. stands proud as one of the most coveted of all. It's a mark of Aston Martin's breadth of abilities that in the same year we launched the DB11 - our most advanced ‘DB' production car ever - we can also embark on an adventure such as the DB4 G.T. Continuation.

A project that taps into the unique passion and skills that exist within Aston Martin, I'm thrilled we have the imagination and capability to offer 25 enthusiasts the unique opportunity to commission their own piece of Aston Martin history."

Built by a marque at the height of it's creative and competitive powers, the DB4 G.T. was a force to be reckoned with.

Ahead of its time – and more often than not the opposition – the DB4 G.T. was a new breed of competition car. In modern parlance it was a homologation special, highly evolved from the series production DB4 on which it was based. Blessed with intensified performance and enhanced agility, the DB4 G.T. stole a march on both Jaguar and Ferrari, cementing Aston Martin's position as makers of world-beating GT cars.

Now, Aston Martin Works are making history by celebrating one of Aston Martins greatest cars with a special series of 25 Continuation cars.

The DB4 G.T. Continuation will see production re-start for the first time in 10 years at our state-of-the-art facilities in Newport Pagnell – spiritual home to the DB4 G.T. and Aston Martins since the 1950's

Built to the highest possible quality with absolute precision, using a blend of David Brown-era old world craftsmanship, with the sympathetic application of modern engineering advancements and performance enhancements.

Crafted with Aston Martin Works' exemplary attention to detail, each DB4 G.T. Continuation will be made to the customer's precise specification.

Driving the DB4 G.T. Continuation will take owners back to a golden age of motor racing. A time before slick tyres, aerodynamic downforce and complex electronics, when racing was an art, not a science. It's about the sensation of becoming one with the machine and the addictive challenge of getting the best from it.

  • 4.2L 6-cylinder engine
  • Front engine, rear-wheel drive
  • 345bhp at 6000rpm
  • 4-speed gearbox
  • Left-hand and right-hand drive steering

These beautifully engineered cars will be created to be enjoyed in a dedicated international track driving programme that is as bespoke and exclusive as the cars themselves.

The programme will run for two-years and take owners to eight of the world's best race tracks, including the spectacular Yas Marina circuit in Abu-Dhabi. Aston Martin Works will handle all the logistics and preparation of cars and ensure they run perfectly throughout each track session.

To assist in mastering the DB4 G.T. Continuation, the Aston Martin driver training team will be on hand. Comprised of expert instructors, they will help drivers learn each new circuit and develop skills so that the maximum can be attained from both car and driver.
